About Sparketh
Childhood best friends Tim Samuel and Dwayne Walker came up with the idea for Sparketh after using art and creativity to grow personally. They had a vision for creating a site that taught kids every creative subject, and thus, Sparketh was born. Sparketh is an at-home solution for kids and teens to learn art. Sparketh provides more than 1,000 art class videos, from Manga Characters to Elements of Art and Design to Painting with Acrylics. Courses can be sorted by skill level as well as by subject and course type. Sparketh membership costs $25/month or $250/annually. Learn more at https://sparketh.com/. The Founders
Dwayne Walker | Chief Executive Officer
Creativity is creating something from nothing. Whether it’s a dance routine in an empty room, a masterpiece from a blank canvas or a poem from a blank sheet of paper. My name is Dwayne Walker, and I’m from Atlanta, GA. I want to be the reason the next generation is the most creative generation. When I was a child, I loved art but my parents did not have enough money to hire an art tutor to help improve my talent. Instead, I had to teach myself how to draw and I went on to win highly competitive competitions locally, statewide, and nationally. CBS News and the AJC interviewed me about my experience winning a contest that granted an all-expense paid trip to Italy to diversify my art skills. I was honored to sell my artwork to Thomas Arvid, one of the top artists in the world. V-103 requested me four times to do live drawings at the annual Frank Ski Celebrity Wine Tasting accompanied by executives of fortune 500 companies and celebrities. Yet, I still knew deep down inside that I could be way more talented if I was trained by a professional artist. As I grew up, I started to notice that I wasn’t the only person facing this issue. Passionate dancers couldn’t afford dance classes, the curious pianists couldn’t afford piano lessons and aspiring actors couldn’t afford a private mentor. I knew that at some point in my life I was going to solve this problem of cost effectively bridging this gap. That bridge is Sparketh. Even though the idea was born years ago, it took my overflowing passion for creativity, a talented team of people and the crazy thought that I can actually change the world for Sparketh to become a reality.
Tim Samuel | Vice President
Creativity is the mindset of accepting that there will always be an infinite amount of possibilities in everything you do. My name is Tim Samuel, I’m 19 years old, and I want to be remembered as, “The World’s Most Creative Man” or at the very least, “the guy who claimed he was the World’s Most Creative Man and never proved it!” I’ve been filming and editing videos for at least 5 years so companies come to me when they want to create eye-catching, inspiring videos with a message. Sparketh aligns with my passion of learning new things and my strong views on expressing yourself through a creative outlet. As the Vice President of Sparketh, my main focus is on building effective courses and videos that teach complex ideas in simple to understand ways. I strive each day to make the next course more creative and more effective than the last, and I won’t slow down until I spark a creative passion in at least 1,000,000 people!
